Editions Alternatives has just brought out a new edition of this guide produced by Chrixcel, an urban art photographer, and Thomas Schmitt, known as \"the artist with the cutter\" - because he cuts, sculpts and carves posters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authors propose 10 routes to explore the best urban art and graffiti spots in Paris and its suburbs, with a map for each location: - Getting off to a good start in the Marais - 13 nuances de street - The revival of eastern walls - Montmartre rhymes with street art - M\u00e9nilmontant and Belleville, from hilltop to hilltop - From Bobigny to Paris, along the canal - The discreet charm of the 14th arrondissement (new) - Towards Greater Paris, from Les Lilas to Vincennes - Vitry \"S\u00fbre Sc\u00e8ne\" - From Clichy to Saint-Ouen, the paths of street art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each itinerary presents the district and the spots in great detail, as well as the artists who left their mark there, highlighting \"an artist in the spotlight\", places not to be missed and a focus on the techniques used. A tribute to Miss.Tic, who died in 2022 and left her mark on La Butte aux Cailles, Montmartre and the Place de Clichy. Famous names - such as Jef A\u00e9rosol, Seth, Gonzalo Borondo, Franck Duval and Eder - or less famous, the inventory is exhaustive, even if some of the works are ephemeral. The book also makes room for stickers, popular with some collectors, and artistic collages and cut-outs, with Ernest-Pignon undoubtedly the first to pioneer this technique in the 1970s. And we mustn't forget the graffiti artists and fa\u00e7adiers, the best-known of whom are Nassyo, Monsieur Chat and Bonom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
