For each country, the author describes the main sites to discover, original and unusual itineraries to escape mass tourism, not-to-be-missed stops and ideas for meeting the local people. A map of the country indicates the places mentioned, and a \"practical\" section gives tips adapted to each destination, such as how to get to the country, the best times to travel, culinary specialities, places to sleep or eat, souvenirs to bring back, clothes to pack, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n
