A blend of contemporary architecture and ancient vines, the Château L'Hospitalet aims to embody the meeting of winegrowing heritage and modern design, in the grandiose setting of La Clape, once a Roman island, so named because of its many lakes.

Nestling in the heart of the Massif de la Clape, between Narbonne and the Mediterranean, Château l'Hospitalet, Gérard Bertrand's «flagship property», embodies for the public a Mediterranean way of life, American-style, based on a concept probably inspired by the successes of Napa Valley in California. This thousand-hectare wine estate, cultivated biodynamically, offers a majestic setting that combines unspoilt nature with the comfort of the senses for top-of-the-range leisure activities.
L'Hospitalet is a renowned vineyard, a « 5-star Wine Resort Beach & Spa », a landmark of wine culture, a striking example of successful locally inspired entrepreneurship and a skilful adaptation to the demands of a wealthy tourist clientele...

The Château l'Hospitalet offers a luxurious and intimate experience thanks to its charming hotel, with some forty carefully decorated rooms combining rustic elegance and modern comfort.

Some suites are located in the Villa Soleilla, offering views of the sea or the vineyards, as well as top-quality facilities, from which the television seems to have been reasonably banished...

The estate offers a range of facilities dedicated to relaxation and sport, including a heated outdoor swimming pool with solarium and uninterrupted views over the park and the Massif de la Clape, a Spa Soleilla, free-access sports facilities such as tennis courts and a putting green to practise golf in the middle of the vineyards.

Its gastronomic restaurant, "The Art of Living", led by Chef Laurent Chabert for the past 11 years, offers a cuisine that «sublimates local produce», awarded with an Michelin Green Star for its commitment to the environment. The estate also offers other more relaxed dining options, such as the restaurant inspired by the recipes of Gérard Bertrand's grandmother, "Chez Paule".
Residents can enhance their stay with guided tours and tastings of Gérard Bertrand's iconic cuvées. The estate is famous for the events it organises, including the Jazz à l'Hospitalet Festival. Each summer, the estate hosts internationally renowned jazz artists. These exceptional evenings combine music and fine cuisine, with gala dinners orchestrated by the estate's chef, all accompanied by exceptional wines.
