On the square in front of the Osijek citadel stands a baroque column dedicated to the Holy Trinity, also known as the "Pillar of the Plague" in homage to the thousands of victims of the plague epidemic at the beginning of the 18th century.

Sur la place de la citadelle d’Osijek, se tient une colonne
baroque dédiée à la sainte Trinité, appelée aussi “Pilier de la
peste” en hommage aux milliers de victimes de l’épidémie de
peste du début du XVIIIe siècle.
