When the fever of the 70s takes over the stage, the audience has only one desire: to dance! Glitter, rhythms, frenzied choreography and eternal hits: Inferno, The Last Night of the Disco It’s a true declaration of love from the 70s. A very engaging show that takes us into the world of the great disco nights. A formidable time machine, but above all, a party like we love it!

From the very first notes, the tone is set. We are transported into the flamboyant universe of disco, back in the days when dance floors were always packed and disco balls lit up the nights until the early morning.
Inferno brings back the lifestyle of a bygone era, atime of freedom, carefree indulgence and extravagance, in an explosion of colors and energy. Between musical comedy, choreographed spectacle and concert, this creation brings to life a time when the dance floor was also a space of freedom and emancipation for the bodies.

A plot behind the scenes

Behind the glitter and the excitement of the runway lies a real plot with its characters, passions, secrets and twists and turns.
Thus we enter the world of Inferno, a disco run by Carmen, played by Carmen Maria Vega. Alongside him, Mike, his faithful right-hand man, embodied by Marc Bouttin, watches over this kingdom of night, selecting the clients at the entrance and getting involved in the intrigues that play out behind the scenes. Alongside her are colorful personalities such as Bianca, a young classical dancer played by Andie Masazza, who upsets the established order. Her arrival in a world completely foreign to her marks the beginning of an adventure full of surprises. She thus discovers a universe that will change her life.

The greatest disco hits: a festival of musical bliss

The biggest attraction of Inferno is obviously its soundtrack, a veritable showcase of the most irresistible music of the 1970s.
The show thus invites the great figures who made the legend of disco and funk. Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Stevie Wonder and many other icons of this mythical decade are in attendance. Christophe Jambois, musical director of the show, already associated with Black Legends, explains that he drew on more than 250 emblematic titles or lesser-known gems to compile this selection. And what would disco be without its dancers?

Inferno keeps all its promises. The dance brings an absolutely communicative vitality to the show, that inexorable desire to get up and join the dance floor! The performers thus evolve in a succession of choreographed tableaux. It is therefore necessary to applaud the work of Cécile Chaduteau, in the artistic direction, who worked, among other things, on Flashdance. The dancers are not there to perform for the singers; they are at the heart of the story, embody the spirit of the club, and participate fully in the life of this nocturnal community.

We leave Inferno with a smile on our faces, our minds filled with melodies, and that delicious feeling of having participated in a great collective celebration. So, yes, the disco fever is truly back!
