Two steps from the Invalides, the hotel 1.75 The Truce It reinvents Parisian hospitality around a simple idea: to feel like you’re at home elsewhere.

In the very wise 7th arrondissement, Paris cultivates a different pace. Grand Haussmannian prospects, prestigious institutions like UNESCO coexist with local shops, and the streets sometimes seem to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital.

Another way to live in Paris

Opened in 2024 after a complete transformation at 5 Avenue de Lowendal, this five-story house features 17 suites and 5 apartments. But the word “hotel” is not quite enough to describe the experience. Here, you don’t simply book a room for a few nights: you settle in, make yourself at home, and rediscover the pleasure of having a real living space near the lobby. Shared kitchens and living rooms indeed extend the private spaces on each floor.
Its name, «1.75», refers to the average size of a person with their arms open, symbolizing welcome and hospitality. The name «La Trêve» evokes a pause in everyday life, a moment of calm and relaxation.
The interior decorator Daphne Desjeux he envisioned a contemporary neoclassical ambiance, attentive to the Haussmannian architecture of the building.

Volumes, ceiling heights and light set the tone. Then come the materials: noble wood, soft and comforting fabrics, gentle tones and simple lines. Everything seems to have found its natural place, with that irresistible sense of tranquility.

Behind La Trêve is a certain vision of hospitality driven by Guillaume Lange, founder of 1.75 Paris. Since the group was founded in 2019, its ambition has been to go beyond the traditional codes of high-end hospitality by offering spaces that draw inspiration from both private apartments and characterful hotels.
The direct connection with a House Manager from the very start of the booking process, neighborhood recommendations, and shared spaces all contribute to this philosophy.

The VIIth arrondissement as a walking area

Paris. Viewed from the 1.75 La Trêve hotel, the famous Invalides Dome and its dome covered with gold leaves.

Staying at La Trêve also means choosing a Paris that you enjoy exploring on foot. Just minutes away, the Invalides impose their majestic silhouette and the Eiffel Tower reminds you that the capital’s great classics are never far away.

Hotel 1.75 La Trêve is thus a certain idea of Paris, far from clichés and sophisticated decor. An elegant house without being intimidating, warm without being overfamiliar, contemporary without denying its history.
An address where you come not just to sleep in Paris, but to experience for a few hours or a few days the pleasure of living there.
