In Cannes, the address everyone's talking about is no longer hidden away in the alleys of Suquet or on the Croisette: it's now on the seventh floor of the Canopy by Hilton. The name? Marea. A rooftop suspended between sky and sea, where the panoramic view of the Grande Bleue rivals that of the food.

From up here, your gaze glides from the glowing curves of the Estérel massif to Lérins IslandsThe Old Port and the iconic bay of Cannes. It's postcard perfect. But Marea doesn't just offer a setting: it imposes a real experience.
An atmosphere designed like a yacht

The place, designed by interior architects Marie-Laure Navarro and Samy Chams, reflects the world of yachting in every detail. Exotic wood, lava stone, leather: each material invites you to escape, as if you were embarking on a chic cruise moored just a few metres from the Old Port.
From late afternoon onwards, the cocktails are inspired by lavender, lemon or local herbs, in a fragrant score that celebrates the Côte d'Azur.
The travelling cuisine of Alexander Douglas Burger

California-born chef Alexander Douglas Burger is a globetrotter at heart, orchestrating a playful and inventive menu. His dishes, to be shared, reconcile sea and land, raw and roasted, exotic and traditional. Grilled octopus is served alongside duck breast, sea bass is paired with truffles, and panisses are reinvented with a touch of green curry. Right up to the dessert, there's plenty of daring on offer: pear poached in mulled wine or matcha cookie baked to perfection.
Marea offers a complete sensory experience, combining design, gastronomy and ecological awareness. More than just a rooftop, it's an invitation to embrace the Mediterranean art of living at its finest.
