Safety on board A rigorous health protocol

CroisiEurope has taken every measure to ensure the safety of its guests.
In addition to regular disinfection of door handles and common areas, the company plans to space out restaurant tables in line with the health rules recommended by the Health Authorities.

In addition, the boat recycling system is equipped with " High Efficiency Particulate Air "These filters are identical to those used in aircraft and operating theatres. These filters extract more than 99.99 % of the smallest viruses, including those as small as 0.01 micrometres, ensuring that cabin air meets quality standards. Coronavirus-type viruses, ranging in size from 0.08 to 0.16 micrometres, are filtered out by HEPA filters.

CroisiEurope applies Bureau Veritas health measures

Bureau Veritas, world leader in testing, inspection and certification services (TIC), is working with CroisiEurope to implement measures to prevent possible contamination on board its 30 river and 2 sea cruise vessels.
Bureau Veritas new service for passenger ships includes an audit-based compliance framework. It addresses biological risks, such as those posed by Covid-19 and other viruses, and plans procedures and measures to protect passengers, company staff and other stakeholders.
Certificates will be issued by the Marine & Offshore division of Bureau Veritas, and certification will take the form of the new "SAFEGUARD" label. This label will be prominently displayed on the boats to promote confidence on board and in shore-based operations. It demonstrates that, following a Bureau Veritas audit, the operator has met health, safety and hygiene requirements, has correctly implemented the necessary procedures, has trained the crew and all on-board employees, and has also established procedures with ports and terminals for port operations.
